SSC JE 2020 Exam NOTIFICATION
SSC JE 2020: Staff Selection Commission gives notification for Junior Engineer examination in the month of August every year. Through the notification, the exam conducting authority will recruit the candidates for the Post of Junior Engineer into Various Departments of government. Before applying for the SSC JE 2020-21 examination, one needs to collect complete and important info such as Application Form, Exam Dates, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern, Exam Mode etc.

SSC JE 2020 Eligibility
SSC JE 2020 aspirants need to make sure they qualify the required eligibility criteria given on the official website. Eligibility criteria for SSC JE is divided into various subsections like educational qualifications, age limit and nationality. Following are the SSC JE-2020 eligibility criteria for various positions.
Reservation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ ExS / PH etc. categories is available as per the extant Govt.
The available posts are identified as suitable for the following category:
Suffering from disabilities of (40%) and above.
One Arm (OA)
One Leg (OL)
Hearing Handicapped (HH)
Nationality/citizenship: A candidate must be either:
(a) A citizen of India, or
(b) A subject of Nepal, or
(c) A subject of Bhutan, or
(d) Tibetan Refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962
(e) An Indian who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East Africa countries.

Note: Candidates need to complete their Degree/Diploma before 01 September every year.

Candidates should note that their Date of Birth should match as recorded in the High school and 10+2 / Certificate or an equivalent certificate. Then only the application will be accepted by the Commission for determining the age and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted. Candidates are advised to opt only for such posts for which they meet the eligibility criteria. Permissible relaxation of upper age limit prescribed is mentioned below. SSC JE 2020 Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/- as their application fee for SSC JE 2018-19 Exam. Female Candidates, Ex. Servicemen and Candidates belonging to reserved categories are exempted from paying the application fee for SSC JE 2019 Exam. The fee can be paid both online (net banking/debit card/credit card) and offline (e-challan).
SSC JE 2020 Exam Pattern
SSC JE 2019 Exam will be conducted in two phases. Paper 1 will be of 200 marks and paper 2 will be of 300 marks. Both paper 1 and paper 2 are Multiple Choice Questions. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every question attempted wrong by a candidate in both the papers.According to the recent Exam Pattern, candidates appearing for the post of JE (civil), JE (quantity surveying & contract) should attempt Part A (civil & structural) of paper I & II.
On the other hand,candidates appearing for JE (electrical) need to attempt Part B (electrical) & the candidates appearing for JE (mechanical) need to attempt Part C (mechanical) of Paper I & II.
